Our Mission and Vision:
There are way too many people in the world suffering unnecessarily. Our goal is to make available a professional selection of relatively untapped mind-body therapies that can help people overcome chronic pain conditions. Additionally we have found that simple lifestyle changes, including exercise, nutrition and mental outlook enable people to heal their bodies without drugs and unnecessary surgeries. Mind-body healing and lifestyle coaching works to help people heal themselves - it is our mission to help promote this awareness of self healing.
Our Philosophical Viewpoint:
The Mind-Body Toolbox accepts different viewpoints as to why a disrupted mind-body connection may be causing symptoms, this includes the following:
1. Neurobiology viewpoint – Your brain’s response to stress is creating an influx in your brain chemistry that is in turn causing your bodily conditions. (Question: what is creating the brain’s reaction to stress?)
2. Mind-body medicine/psychosomatic viewpoint – Your emotional state of being, created by your reactions to pressures, which have now become repressed, are what cause your bodily conditions. (Why? The brain is creating symptoms as a distraction strategy)
3. Energy medicine/qigong viewpoint – A disruption in your body’s energy system is causing a blockage, which is in turn creating a physical condition. The disruption can be environmental, nutritional or thought related.
4. Energy psychology viewpoint - A disruption in your body’s energy system is causing a negative emotion, which is in turn creating a physical condition.
5. Law of attraction viewpoint - Your mental and emotional state of being creates your vibrational or energetic signal (point of attraction), which in turn creates your body (and everything in the physical plane)
6. Conventional medical viewpoint – Your mind and body are not connected, except to a degree by way of stress. WE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS VIEWPOINT!!
